The Green Hornet Blu-Ray Review and note the Sting on the early May 2011!

The Green Hornet Blu-Ray Disc is guaranteed a 'something cool' you would like to possess. It comes with a special limited edition steelbook cover which will not be available once out of stock. That is part of the reason why you would want to have it.

Most fans would say because there's Jay Chou or Seth Rogen or even both. Well, it's a great combination from the East and West that brings together an unique team of superheroes - The Green Hornet and Kato.

Hey, they did come to Singapore remember? Thankfully, we were there to capture lots of great photos of Jay Chou and Seth Rogen. They also made their appearance at Bugis Square and The Cathay, Handy Road. The next period to note is during the early May 2011 because that is when they will be here in the form of collectibles - The Green Hornet Blu-Ray 3D, Blu-Ray Disc and DVDs!

In the Blu-Ray Disc, The Green Hornet logo loads full green before bringing you to the main screen where the 'Coolness' begins. Trust me, you won't want the DVD when you have enough experience with Blu-Rays, so look out for the Blu-Ray SteelBox edition!

There is a lot of special features and I'm going to list them down below.

1	The Green Hornet Cutting Room	An option for you to actually take up the editor role and come up with your own short clip of some of the action scenes available. Quite interesting!
2	Filmmakers' Commentary	There's Michel Gondry and with writers, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. You can be assured that this is pretty interesting with Seth around, as his laughter is contagious! Ghrr Ghrrer Ghrr..
3	Deleted Scenes	An option to view the scenes that were deleted from the movie. Either play all at once or select the ones you wish to watch.
4	'Awesome' Gag Reel	Features the funny scenes during filming and behind the scenes. Hilarious..
5	'Trust Me' Director Michel Gondry	Director's thoughts. Learn more about the French director how is noted for his inventive visual style and manipulation!
6	Writing The Green Hornet	Hear Seth and Evan on writing The Green Hornet and how the actors and actresses had an impact on them.
7	The Black Beauty: Rebirth of Cool	There is indeed lots of cool Black Beauty made for the sets!
8	The Stunt Family Armstrong	The Armstrong family is involved with The Green Hornet! Needless to say, just watch how many of them!
9	Finding Kato	One of the highlights. Basically it features Jay Chou! There's glimpse of Jay Chou's concert and Jay Chou practising fighting moves and learning English. Come on.. He's so cool..
10	The Art of Destruction	Finish it with a boom! An interesting clip that shows you the prepartion for the explosives and destructive scenes in The Green Hornet!
11	Previews	Blu-Ray Disc High Definition, How Do You Knw, Just go With It, The Tourist.

Something different I have noticed is that at the end of the special features, they will lead you back to where you left off in the movie instead of the main menu.

To round it off, The Green Hornet Blu-Ray Disc is awesome with Seth Rogen and Jay Chou. The Green Hornet is the movie where Jay Chou practises and speaks a lot of English in it. Noting that his priority will still be music and he doesn't feel the need to master English Language, The Green Hornet Blu-Ray Disc could very well be one of the great collectibles in 2011, featuring Jay Chou speaking English language in Hollywood movies - it's even better if you can get your hands on the Blu-Ray SteelBox.
