Aniu & Director in search for 'The Wedding Diary' Movie Theme Song!

Singapore, 24 June 2011 – Local comedy film THE WEDDING DIARY, starring an ensemble cast from Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong, unveils its poster! Both Singapore and Malaysia will be using this poster for their theatrical releases.

The poster features main cast in THE WEDDING DIARY, namely: Aniu, Elanne Kwong, Kara Wai, Jack Choo, Marcus Chin, Shaun Chen, Chris Tong, Maggie Theng and Rosa Chong.

In contrast with their glamourous gowns and suits, the actors put up dramatic yet “comiclike”
expressions, adding humour to the movie poster.

The “helplessness” written all over Aniu and Elanne’s faces simply relate to the movie
tagline: “Marriage is Not Just about Two People!”

In conjunction with the release of THE WEDDING DIARY, movie Producer Clover Films and karaoke chain K Box launch a competition in search for music talents! Two categories are put up for the competition: “Best Composer” and “Best Vocalist”.

The winning composition, performed by the “Best Vocalist”, will be used as one of the theme songs for THE WEDDING DIARY. Both winners will each receive a $900 hamper. To participate, Singaporeans and Permanent Residents aged 18 and above can grab an application form from any K Box outlet and attend the audition on 26 June at K Union.

Finals will be held on 22 July at Jurong Point where actor Aniu and Director Adrian Teh will be the judges at the event.

THE WEDDING DIARY, with a production budget of SGD $1 million, opens theatrically in Singapore on 10 November. It is co-distributed by Clover Films and Golden Village Pictures.
