Based on Singaporean Kevin Kwan’s 2013 Novel of the same title, the story revolves around wealthy Chinese families living in Singapore. Now You See Me 2 director John M Chu will direct a script by Pete Chiarelli and Adele Lim - the first Hollywood production with a fully Asian cast planned.

No word on the cast, but it has been reported that a worldwide search is set to find the dream cast for this all-asian production. Also, a spring 2017 production is being eyed in Singapore.

Kwan’s best-selling novel of the same name, which has almost 1 million copies in print around the world and has never left the top 10 in Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia since its release in 2013. It chronicles the adventures of a Chinese-American economics professor who joins her boyfriend for a friend’s wedding in Singapore, only to learn that the boyfriend is the heir to a massive fortune, entangling the professor in Singapore’s high society.

Which part of Singapore do you think will the film be shot at? Let us know in the comments below!
