Movies Coming to the Big Screen in September 2017!

By Flora  /  25 Aug 2017 (Friday)
This month, there are great horror flicks to look forward to, film sequels, as well as a cult classic reboot for the sci-fi fans, not forgetting the comeback movie from Steven Soderbergh!

Check out these 6 InC-recommended movies!

IT - opening InCinemas 7 September

Based on Stephen King’s 1986 novel of the same name, IT is an upcoming horror film for those who seek a scary night-out at the theatres. Clowns are scary, and this movie just proves our childhood nightmare is real.

When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

Logan Lucky - opening InCinemas 7 September

There’ll be 101 reasons to love the upcoming heist movie ‘Logan Lucky’. The first being Steven Soderbergh helming the role as the director. Having directed the classic Ocean’s Eleven film series, we are expecting some pretty madcap moments from this director. Also, Mr. Bond himself, Daniel Craig as an incarcerated runway jailbird? That’s a refreshing image you wanna see!

The Beguiled - opening InCinemas 7 September

The Cannes Film Festival award-winning feature that had many talking about - The Beguiled, boasting a star-studded cast that includes Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst, Colin Farrell, and Elle Fanning. 'The Beguiled' pits a soldier (Colin Farrell) against a group of young women from a girls' boarding school in an unpredictable drama-thriller.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle - opening InCinemas 21 September

Kingsman: The Secret Service introduced us to the world to Kingsman - the suave men in suits who work for an independent, international intelligence agency operating at the highest level of discretion, whose ultimate goal is to keep the world safe.

In the sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, our heroes face a new challenge… a new fate awaits them when their headquarters are destroyed. Expect this sequel to be bigger, more extreme and more outrageous!

Flatliners - opening InCinemas 28 September

If you've seen the 1990 cult classic 'Flatliners', then you, like us, will definitely be looking foward to catch the upcoming sci-fi flick by Sony Pictures. The thriller sees a new bunch of young actors who will bring a fresh 21st-century twist, starring Ellen Page, Nina Dobrev, Charlotte McKinney and Diego Luna. Kiefer Sutherland, who starred in the original film is said to be back, but no reports on who will be playing at the moment.

“It’s certainly a good way to die,” says one of the students in the trailer. When a group of medical students finds out a way to stop their heartbeat temporary, they unknowingly unlock the realm of the other world that comes back to haunt them in unimaginable ways.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie - opening InCinemas 28 September

The first LEGO movie became an instant hit, with LEGO Batman Movie making a box office success as well. The LEGO Ninjago Movie hopes to emulate the same kind of achievement with the ninja-action theme.

Just when you think that these little bricks can’t do many fights with their 3-tier body parts, be amazed by their pretty creative and humourous combat sequences… choreographed by none other than Jackie Chan, who also stars as Sensei Wu, the young ninja squad’s wise leader and trainer.
