Shows To Entertain You Until The End Of Circuit Breaker

With the circuit breaker extended till 1st June, it’s easy to feel bored when every day feels the same. Do not worry, as we have compiled a list of shows premiering in the month of May, do keep an eye on more shows contesting for your view across HBO GO, HBO, Warner TV, Cartoon Network and Oh!K!

Blindspot (Season 5)

Premieres on 1 May, Friday at 9pm

The fifth and final season of Blindspot begins in the aftermath of the explosion that left Jane Doe watching as a drone strikes the safe house holding the rest of the team. Now, the question to be answered is who made it out alive and whether the team will ever be able to clear their names in the wake of Madeline Burke's rise to power.

The Secret Life of Pets 2

The highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster animated comedy, The Secret Life of Pets, the sequel tells the story about the lives pets lead behind closed doors after their human counterparts leave their homes each day.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Premieres 9 May, Saturday, at 9pm on HBO GO and HBO

The story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters as the mighty Godzilla battles with Mothra against Rodan and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species – initially thought to be mere myths – rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

Workers 《做工的人》

Premieres 10 May, Sunday at 9pm on HBO GO

Follow a group of construction workers who daydream about being rich and resort to countless outrageous get-rich-quick schemes only to make fools out of themselves. Despite these setbacks, the happy-go-lucky workers continue to be optimistic. Nothing will stop their pursuit of being rich beyond their wildest dreams!

Premieres 11 May, Monday, at 9am on HBO and HBO GO

Based on the 1998 bestselling novel by Wally Lamb, this limited HBO Original series follows the parallel lives of identical twin brothers. A family saga, it tells a story of betrayal, sacrifice and forgiveness set against the backdrop of 20th-century America.

Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw

Premieres 23 May, Saturday at 9pm on HBO and HBO GO

For years, hulking lawman Luke Hobbs and lawless outcast Deckard Shaw have traded smack talk and body blows. But when a cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist gains control of an insidious bio-threat that could alter humanity forever, Hobbs and Shaw must partner up to bring down the only guy who might be more dangerous than themselves.

The sequel to the original hit drama continues 12 years later. Follow Jung Ha Yoon, an aspiring medical malpractice litigation officer, and her a group of fellow doctors as they mature in their careers while juggling their personal aspirations and challenges. The drama focuses on the camaraderie, tensions and relationships the group develops as they uphold their duties to their patients.

Premieres 21 May, Thursdays and Fridays, at 7.50pm

Ka Yeol-Chan is the successful Chief of Sales and Marketing at a ramen company. One day, his department employs a senior age intern, who turns out to be Yeol-Chan’s previous rigid and old school boss from his previous company who made his life difficult in the past. Now they must work together, although the tables have now turned.

Apple and Onion

Premieres 16 May, Weekends, at 10am

Having decided to leave their hometowns to experience big city living, they find it unfamiliar and confusing. But with unstoppable enthusiasm, Apple and Onion discover their own unique path through the journey called life. In these brand-new episodes, Apple and Onion conquer their obsessions with sausages and video games, while also trying to get Falafel out of jail.

ThunderCats Roar!

Premieres 23 May, Weekends, at 1pm

Lion-O and the ThunderCats barely escaped the sudden destruction of their homeworld, Thundera, and have crash-landed on the mysterious and exotic planet called Third Earth. The newly appointed Lord of the ThunderCats, Lion-O, attempts to lead the team as they make Third Earth their new home. A bizarre host of creatures and villains stand in their way, and the ThunderCats have to stop the evil threatening to reign over the planet and their new home.

UniKitty!

Premieres 30 May, Weekends, at 11.30am

Transporting viewers to a joyous kingdom full of sparkle matter, happy thoughts and the occasional rage-out, this animated series follows Unikitty, the beloved character from The LEGO® Movie. In these new episodes, Unikitty’s brother, Puppycorn is having trouble falling asleep, so Dr. Fox uses an invention to bring classic bedtime stories to life. The gang tries to spend a relaxing day at the beach, but the day becomes an underwater adventure when they find a mysterious message in a bottle.
