A Remake of 'The Others' is in the Works!

Alejandro Amenabar’s horror classic starring Nicole Kidman is getting a makeover!

Universal Pictures and Sentient Entertainment have partnered to remake The Others. Sentient’s Renee Tab and Christopher Tuffin will produce alongside Aliwen Entertainment’s Lucas Akoskin. It is unknown how much this remake will take from the original storyline.

The original 2001 film starring Kidman became a surprise summer hit that grossed more then US$200 million at the worldwide box office. Similar to The Sixth Sense, the film is known not only for for scaring audiences but delivering one of the all-time great twist endings.
