Leonardo DiCaprio has plans to remake this Oscar-winning movie!

A remake of one of this year’s Oscar-winning movies is already in the works and Leonardo DiCaprio is attached to star in it!

The Titanic actor's production company Appian Way won the rights to remake the foreign language film Another Round, which just won the Oscar for Best International Film at the 93rd Academy Awards.

Another Round stars Hannibal's Mads Mikkelsen as a vulnerable middle-aged man in existential crisis. Director Thomas Vinterberg earned himself a Best Director nomination for his work in the film, from a screenplay he wrote with Tobias Lindholm.



DiCaprio is a seven-time Oscar nominee and won the award for Best Actor in 2016 for his portrayal in Alejandro Innaritu's The Revenant. If the remake is any good as its original source, he might have another shot at procurring Oscar gold.
