THE WEDDING DIARY garners a strong opening week in Singapore and Malaysia!

Clover Films and Golden Village Pictures are proud to announce that local romance comedy The Wedding Diary raked in an impressive S$250,000 at the Singapore box office and MYR$2.1 million at the Malaysia box office in its first week of theatrical release (from 9 to 15 February)! The movie opened on 9 February in both territories.

The Wedding Diary is the No. 1 Asian movie in Singapore, despite strong competition from We Not Naughty, The Billionaire, and Romancing in Thin Air.

The movie is also the top grossing movie in Malaysia, beating the likes of Chronicle, Man On a Ledge, and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.

The Wedding Diary, a fun and witty parody, features an ensemble cast from Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong including: Malaysia artiste Aniu, Hong Kong artiste Elanne Kwong, award-winning Hong Kong actress Kara Wai, local actors Jack Choo, Marcus Chin, Shaun Chen, Chris Tong, and Maggie Theng.

The Wedding Diary, with a production budget of SGD $1 million, is co-distributed in Singapore by Clover Films and Golden Village Pictures. The movie is presented by Solvil et Titus.
