The Prom's first teaser is a musical glitter bomb!

The star-studded Netflix musical movie, The Prom, has finally dropped its first teaser and it is as glittery and colourful as you'd imagine!

The Prom, directed by Ryan Murphy boasts a cast that include Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, James Corden, Andrew Rannells, Kerry Washington, Keegan Michael-Key, Ariana DeBose and newcomer Jo Ellen Pellman. It tells the story of a troupe of self-obsessed theaters stars (Streep, Corden, Kidman, Rannells) — who descend on a conservative small town in Indiana to take up the cause of Emma (Pellman), a high school girl who wants to take her girlfriend, Alyssa (DeBose), to the prom.

The movie is based on the Tony-nominated Broadway musical of the same name, written by Matthew Sklar, Bob Martin and Chad Beguelin. 

The Prom will premiere on Netflix on December 11.
