Brie Larson is unstoppable in the new trailer for Marvel’s Captain Marvel

It’s about 4 months till we see Carol Danvers on the big screen in her debut as one of the greatest Marvel heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and Marvel Studios just dropped a new trailer featuring Brie Larson as the ass-kicking superhero.
Captain Marvel
is set during the 90s, over a decade before the events of 2008’s Iron Man, which features SHIELD captain Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) in his younger self where he encounters a superhero for the very first time. This also marks the first Marvel feature since Captain America: The First Avenger to take place entirely in the past.
Danvers finds herself in the centre of a conflict between the Kree and Skrull, the two alien races who have made Earth their battleground. Working with Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg), they have to fight against the shape-shifting aliens from invasion and protect their world from these creatures.
The trio has to fend off an invasion of shape-shifting aliens called the Skrulls, who are in the midst of a secret invasion of earth. Which explains why Danvers punched an old lady on the bus - who was actually a Skrull in disguise.
The film also stars Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Rune Temte, Algenis Perez Soto, Mckenna Grace, with Annette Bening and Jude Law.
Captain Marvel opens InCinemas 7 March 2019!
