Rian Johnson’s 'Knives Out' teases its kooky characters

By Flora  /  20 Sep 2019 (Friday)

The next movie from the Star Wars director, Rian Johnson is part Agatha Christie murder mystery, part dark comedy and a whole lot of fun.

Described as a modern take on the whodunit murder mystery, Knives Out follows a family gathering gone horribly wrong after the death of the family’s patriarch. While the death is initially thought to be a suicide, a master detective is brought in to investigate the mystery, who begins to suspect something is amiss.

Featuring a star-studded cast that includes Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon, LaKeith Stanfield, Katherine Langford, Noah Segan, Edi Patterson, Riki Lindhome, Jaeden Martell, and Christopher Plummer, the film recently debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival to great acclaim.

While the trailer doesn’t give us any spoilers or revealing major plot details, Johnson advised fans and viewers to not watch the trailer for he recommends ‘coming in clean’, and that some scenes are ‘best experienced for the first time in the movie’.

Watch at your own risk!

Knives Out opens InCinemas November 28!
