The New 'Suicide Squad' Trailer is So Insane, it's So Good!

By Flora  /  20 Jan 2016 (Wednesday)

Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first Suicide Squad trailer and it’s insanely awesome.

In line with the out-of-the-world approach to the film, the new trailer starts off with Queen’s "Bohemian Rhapsody”, and sets the berserk tone from there. Alas, we get to see a little more of the eccentricity of the characters from the group, their backstory and action, lots of over-the-top action.

We can’t help but to think this film might be somewhat like Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy - the unorthodox approach to superhero movies. And that's a good thing for DC's cinematic universe, since we have seen how much people loved Guardians of the Galaxy.

(View the Suicide Squad character posters, here!)

Written and directed by David Ayer, Suicide Squad is based on the DC Comics of the same name, and begins as government official Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) starts a special program involving incarcerated supervillains.

Starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Cara Delevigne, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Adam Beach, Jay Hernandez, Ike Barinholtz, Common, Scott Eastwood, Karen Fukuhara, and Viola Davis, Suicide Squad opens InCinemas 4 August 2016!
