Going Wild with these New Movie Trailers from the MTV Movie Awards!

By Flora  /  11 Apr 2016 (Monday)

New footage and more exciting scenes to enjoy from three blockbuster films that premiered at the MTV Movie Awards last evening!

Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War

The new trailer sees more of Captain America and his #TeamCap members Falcon and Scarlet Witch fighting off a group of black-clad soldiers, and gives us a glimpse at the new villain Crossbones.
If you don’t already know, Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie and director Joe Russo will be in Singapore next week for the Southeast Asia premiere of Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War! It's going to be a star-studded night at the Marina Bay Sands!

(Red Carpet Details: bit.ly/1N684FS)

[Synopsis]
Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

Marvel's Captain America: Civil War also stars Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner and Chadwick Boseman, and opens InCinemas 28 April 2016!

Suicide Squad

Fans got pretty excited when Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne and Jared Leto, stars of the highly-anticipated ‘Suicide Squad’ introduced the new trailer at the awards show.  Apparently, fans on site almost broke through barricades just to be one of the first few to catch the new trailer. With that much of a following, we’re just hoping for the film to live up to its hype.

There are a couple of unseen footage of the supervillians in action, and even a very brief scene of Batman…?

[Synopsis]
A secret government agency recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency.

Suicide Squad opens InCinemas 4 August 2016!

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them

Apart from the familiar Harry Potter score playing in the background, this new teaser trailer is everything a muggle wishes for. Eddie Redmayne plays Newt Scamander who brings a suitcase of monsters ,or rather, ‘fantastic beasts’ through an immigration checkpoint, but not before changing his magical suitcase to 'Muggle Worthy'.

[Synopsis]
Introducing the next film franchise from Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling … Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them is an extension of the wizarding world familiar to all Harry Potter fans and is based on a textbook Harry Potter reads while at Hogwarts.

This first film is set in New York during the 1920s and follows the adventures of Newt Scamander as he makes his way through a secret wizarding community in search of magical creatures. The franchise will have all the excitement, action and, of course, magic that has become the worldwide signature of the Harry Potter universe.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them also stars Katherine Waterston, Colin Farrell, Ezra Miller, and opens InCinemas 17 November 2016!
