Everything you love about Wes Anderson is in there.

Set in France, the highly anticipated 10th feature film, ‘The French Dispatch’ from Wes Anderson is a ‘love letter to journalists’ that revolves around a fictional 20th-century French city that brings to life a collection of stories published in the magazine named, The French Dispatch.

The idea of the imaginary magazine is inspired by Anderson’s love of The New Yorker. (You can read more about that in The New Yorker.)

As with ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’, The French Dispatch also features a whole lot of big names that includes Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand, Owen Wilson, Benicio del Toro, Saoirse Ronan, Jeffrey Wright, Léa Seydoux, Timothée Chalamet, Willem Dafoe, Adrien Brody and Elisabeth Moss. Not forgetting Anderson’s signature style of colourful sets, deadpan expressions and his love for symmetry.
