Murder on the Orient Express Debuts First Trailer
By InCinemas / 02 Jun 2017 (Friday)
Based on one of Agatha Christie's most popular novels of the same name, 'Murder on the Orient Express' is directed by Kenneth Branagh, starring himself as the iconic detective Hercule Poirot. The all-star cast also includes Judi Dench, Michelle Pfeiffer, Tom Bateman, Leslie Odom Jr., Penélope Cruz, Daisy Ridley, and Johnny Depp. Take a look at the characters they play below:
If you're not familiar with Christie's novel, here's the movie synopsis to help you out:
What starts out as a lavish train ride through Europe quickly unfolds into one of the most stylish, suspenseful and thrilling mysteries ever told. From the novel by best selling author Agatha Christie, "Murder on the Orient Express" tells the tale of thirteen strangers stranded on a train, where everyone's a suspect. One man must race against time to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again.
The highlight of the teaser is a tense and suspenseful sequence of Hercule Poirot walking by the suspects on the train before introducing himself as "the greatest detective in the world" (and probably the owner of the most majestic moustache in the world, too, if we may add). The trailer then concludes with a rather unexpected, if not unsettling, choice of music: Imagine Dragon's Believer.
'Murder on the Orient Express' opens InCinemas on 09 November 2017.
