Starring Benjamin Kheng as Dick Lee, Wonder Boy explores the singer’s origin story, charting his rise in the music industry to be one of Singapore’s most prolific music icons today.
The coming-of-age film will also mark Lee’s film directorial debut where he will co-direct with Daniel Yam.
In the first trailer, we learn a little more about the Richard (Kheng), who is being laughed at by his friends for his unique compositions like 'Chow fun baby'. In addition, The Sam Willows band member croons to iconic songs like ‘Fried Rice Paradise’ and ‘Life Story’. What's not to like?

Wonder Boy follows the story of Richard, a teenaged aspiring musician and the school's social outcast, as he forms a band - The Wonder Boys - and embarks on his coming-of- age journey through youthful ambition, friendships, first love, and the uncertainty of impending adulthood.
The film also stars Julie Tan, Michelle Wong, Zachary Ibrahim, Foo Fang Rong, and Ryan Ang and opens InCinemas 3 August 2017!
