Maleficent 2: “Mistress of Evil” is back in a brand new trailer

Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning reprise their roles in the Disney sequel “Mistress of Evil” as the dark fairy Maleficent and Princess Aurora. They are joined by Michelle Pfeiffer, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sam Riley, Harris Dickinson, Ed Skrein and Imelda Stauton.
The film picks up several years after Maleficent, in which we learned the backstory of one of Disney’s most notorious villain on what drove her to curse a baby Aurora. The sequel continues to explore the complex relationship between the horned fairy and the soon to be Queen as they form new alliances and face new adversaries, as well it seems like we get to see a more sinister side of Maleficent emerging.
Directed by Joachim Rønning, who previously worked with Disney co-directing 2017's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
Maleficent sequel opens InCinemas October 2019.
