Disney drops 1st trailer for 'Jungle Cruise', starring Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson

Starring Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson, Disney is bringing another one of its theme park rides to life in the form of ‘Jungle Cruise’, an adventure epic that involves charging hippos, deadly piranhas and a famed ‘backside of water’ along the Amazon River.
Jungle Cruise sees Blunt as an ambitious explorer-scientist employing the help of Johnson, the river cruise operator cum tour guide to delve into the Amazon rainforest as they set out on an epic adventure.
It’s no surprise that Disney had thought of creating another one of its Disneyland rides onto the silver screen, following the success of its Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise. The Jungle Cruise is actually even older than the Pirates ride, dating all the way back from 1955! We’re pretty sure this movie will be filled with a modern makeover, with the help of its leads.
Jungle Cruise also stars Jake Whitehall and Jesse Plemons, and opens in theatres July 2020.
