Museum of Horrors 2013 - Brides never Looked This Scary!

By InCinemas  /  18 Oct 2013 (Friday)

InCinemas was able to experience the Museum Of Horrors 2013 trail at the preview night yesterday, held at the *SCAPE Warehouse and here's what we have to say...

This 4th Halloween signature event sees a collaboration with students from Singapore Polytechnic Diploma in Integrated Events & Project Management course, Movie Mania and *SCAPE, where it promises a gory and terrifying experience for participants.

Participants will slither through a maze with seven realistic dioramic sets, depicting various places and scenes in Singapore such as the old Bedok Reservoir, Old Tampines Road and funeral rituals.

Without giving out too much, expect to be frightened by the scare talents in all directions, appearing at the most unexpected places. From screaming brides to wandering ‘ghosts’, they are determined to give a chilling experience to its visitors.

Some of the highlights includes the ‘lift’ where visitors are expected to enter a non-functional lift (of course) and await your doom. As darkness envelop the small, constrained area, all you see are lift buttons lighting up in randomized order. After a pretty short, but definitely sufficient ordeal, the lift door finally opens to ‘another world’ and you’re off to the start of the pitch dark trail, the Maze.

With a small red torch to guide you through the maze, be prepared to scream and jump from the immersive and spine-chilling walk-through. All I can say, beware of the ferocious brides who are out of a sweet revenge.

The entire trail took us approximately 15 minutes and though frightened, I was subconsciously wanting more.

Running everyday from tonight till the 31st of October, participants can purchase their tickets at the *SCAPE customer service counter.
