InCinemas Coverage of Andy Lau at OSIM Press Conference

Is there a way to enjoy the status of a 'Heavenly King'? How do we become a 'Heavenly King'? Well, those who have experienced the coveted status would know the answer. In this case, Heavenly King Andy Lau, who has been around the show-biz for 31 years, shares his thoughts.

(Translated from the Chinese Slogan in the uDivine Ad) "Not everyone can be a Heavenly King.. Only me.. And you.." Andy Lau repeats this OSIM uDivine advertising slogan in the OSIM press conference today, 26 March 2011, at Vivocity Central Court B. Amidst the enthusiatic calls of 'Hua Zai!, Hua Zai!', our Heavenly King makes an epic entry into the event, sitting on the OSIM uDivine while the 'OSIM egg' revolves to unveil our king.
Dressed in blue-white checkered-shirt with a clean white blazer and his favourite ankle-cut black pants, Andy Lau says hello to crowd, "It is my honour to be here. There's a number of events and every time I'm here, I see a lot of people so THANK YOU!"
You must be curious as to which part of the body massage Andy enjoys the most. In the chat with the emcees, Violent Fenying and Ye Yong Mei (both are deejays from 97.2 FM station), we learn that Andy likes the foot, arms and the bum massage the most, and the last answer attracts the most attention from the crowd.
"Not everyone can touch the Heavenly King's bottom!" Violet exclaims, while agreeing with Andy that it can be strange when a masseur gets request to massage one's bum. So with uDivine, our Heavenly King gets his bum massage without having a problem of feeling awkward.
Andy Lau is already an OSIM user before taking up the endorsement for uDivine. He feels that OSIM put in effort to design a product with the consumers in mind, so he finds the OSIM products beneficial. Now, he feels honoured to have a chance to endorse for OSIM.
"It feels so real as though there's a person massaging on you," Andy tells the crowd. Violet actually went to make sure if there's a person hiding behind the chair. In reply to her response, Andy jokes, "Don't pull out my woman!"
He feels that the best thing is having no need to pay for masseurs every now and then, when you have a quality massage chair that guarantees a massage as good as what the better masseurs can offer. Andy adds, "You won't have to face disappointment when your masseurs done a bad massage."
"The pulse has a ryhthem as though someone is dancing behind you and it (the massage) feels so real. The uDivine is designed to give the best service to every part of your body," He notes that it is hard for him to say how good it is except to try out for yourself. "Only then you will feel that what I say is genuine."
He also praises OSIM advertising and promotion team for doing a good job for every level of the consumers to have a try of the world's first human-3D massage chair.
Andy Lau's die-hard fans are also present in the event. Known for caring his fans, it is said that Andy has a fan club base where he shares the luxury of uDivine with his fans. Andy remarks, "I heard that the property price here [in Singapore] has went up a lot. I thought of placing one here but land here is becoming pricer. However, OSIM has promised him a space for his fan club."
This comment certainly warms the hearts of his die-hard fans who are already here to occupy the best spot possible. Andy told the emcees, "I'm only nice to people who treats me well."
When asked by the media if he has any plans for the next 30 years, Andy concedes that he doesn't really have a plan. "After 30 years I can't tell [what would become of] except that it will be a blissful one."
He hopes that everyday will be a happy day but it's certainly not easy to achieve. "A lot of things is happening, like the [recent] Japan earthquake. I hope that people around will cherish and show their love and concern for one another. I hope that everyone will be happy."
Previously, OSIM has engage other celebrities like Zhang Fei, Gu Tian Le and when asked about his views on this, Andy replies, "OSIM has a large variety of products. But this time, they require an advertisement to feature a Heavenly king. Approaching me is the right choice."
Indeed a right choice, OSIM has prepared a special gift for Andy Lau. It's a mini-size of uDivine which is much more costly than a real uDivine itself. Beaming and with smiles all over the face, Andy indicates that he likes the gift very much. In return, he presents a thoughful gift to OSIM. It is an beautiful piece of writing that says 'Asia No. 1'.
Certainly an awesome event with the presence of the Heavenly King. The 30 lucky mums have their time shaking hands and taking a group photo with Andy Lau. Some also take the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hug our king. One of them told Andy that he has made her wait 32 years for this chance where as Xiao Long Nu (A character in the famous chinese novel 'The Condor Hero') took 16 years.
