4 Times A Charm for UK band, The Wanted!
By InCinemas / 30 Dec 2013 (Monday)
It may the 4th time that UK boy-band The Wanted is in Singapore, but fans are still loving the 5-member group, who are here for MediaCorp’s Celebrate TV50 countdown party tomorrow!

At the press conference held at The Regent Hotel earlier this afternoon, members Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Skyes were in all smiles, poking fun at one another despite having little rest from their long flight earlier this morning.
And being the 4th time in Singapore also means that they are no strangers to the local delicacies. Durian seemed like the common fruit that the boys detested. Jay was quick to express his thoughts about the ‘King of the fruit’, “It tastes like feet, armpit, vomit!”
Siva Kaneswaran who has relatives residing in Singapore chose ‘Singapore Noodles’ as the first food he’ll like to eat in Singapore, while Max George revealed that he liked chicken sausages. Nice choices we say!
2013 proves to be a great year for The Wanted, with their very own reality series of E! called ‘The Wanted Life’, chart-topping hits and sold-out concerts.
“2013 has been a huge year for us. We had such an amazing experience and I couldn’t think of a better way than to finish 2013 and be here with all the wonderful people and in a country that we absolutely adore, “ Max said.
When it came to regrets and hopes for 2014, Nathan Skyes said that he is sort of ‘the glass is half-full kind of guy’ and that there should not be regrets.
“I rather focus on the positives and we had a really really fun year so what’s the point of looking at things you regret when you focus on what you achieve and be proud of,” Skyes continued.
The Wanted, together with Taiwan’s superstar Wang Lee Hom will be headlining the 7-hour non-stop party countdown event tomorrow, the Celebrate TV50 event at The Float @ Marina Bay!
Tickets are priced from $28 and will be available (via cash only) on 31 December at the venue. You can catch the live telecast on Channel 5 and Channel 8 tomorrow, from 8pm onwards, or stream on Toggle LIVE.
