Local Film Director Toh Hai Leong dies at 58

Film director Toh Hai Leong was a key figure in the Singapore film culture where he directed a mockumentary Zombie Dogs in 2004.
He died from pneumonia yesterday and was known to have been battling chronic Type 2 diabetes since 2005.
Toh had actively participated in local film-related events where he was later appointed as secretary of the Singapore Film Society and also programmed sections of the Singapore International Film Festival.
