Mandopop Queen Stefanie Sun is back - First concert to be held at National Stadium!

Local pride Stefanie Sun is back on the concert stage after a five-year hiatus from her last world tour, the first artiste to hold a concert at the brand new National Stadium which holds up to 20,000 people!

At the press conference held at The Fullerton Hotel last week, Sun expressed her excitement and happiness to be back in the industry. Now a mother, Sun said, “When I first heard my new song on the radio, I felt really lucky and found the joy of singing.”

On her title song of her newly-released album ‘Kepler’, Sun revealed that she knew it was going to be thee song after she listened to the demo and read the lyrics. “The song has its own unique style   and expresses a lot about the theme of ‘love’”.

The National Stadium is one of the biggest venue in Singapore and Sun’s “Stefanie Sun 2014 Kepler World Tour’ will be the first concert at the new venue. The concert is her first comeback concert in Singapore since her marriage in 2011 an childbirth in 2012 - her biggest concert here to date.

“It’s my first time performing at such a big venue here and I believe it’s going to be very grand”, 35-year-old Sun said.

The full set-up at her sold-out concerts in Taipei in February will be brought over to Singapore. Besides spectacular stage performances, fans can expect a something special during her tour stop here but the local songbird is keeping mum about the ‘surprise’.
