A Range of Activities To Celebrate Batman's 75th Anniversary!

To commemorate 75 years of DC Comics' most dynamic and captivating Super Hero Batman, Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) and DC Entertainment will be working with business partners to roll out a range of activities throughout the year!

There will be consumer events, new merchandise launches and eye-popping retail programmes for the fans of Batman and other DC super heroes!

  • 23 April 2014

The DC Comics Super Heroes retail stores will launch their 5th store in Orchard Gateway, as well as re-open their newly revamped store in Vivocity!  The outlets will showcase an exclusive limited-edition range of products to celebrate the Caped Crusader’s 75th anniversary. 

  • From 31 May 2014 to 31 March 2015

Fans will get to ‘fly’ with Batman and other DC Comics Super Heroes onboard Singapore Cable Car through in-cabin augmented reality and thematically wrapped cabins. Other exciting themed activities include photo opportunities with 3-D life-sized statues of the Super Heroes, exclusive retail merchandises as well as interactive media experience.

Die-hard followers can spend quality time at the Singapore Philatelic Museum: The League Against Evil, A DC Comics Super Heroes Exhibition, featuring Batman and Justice League collectibles and figurines!

Batman enthusiasts can collect the limited edition DC Justice League & Batman 75th Anniversary MyStamp Collection by Singapore Post Limited (SingPost).  The stamp collection features 75 pieces of comic cover over 75 years of Batman and the legendary Super Heroes from the Justice League. It will be sold in a bundle set of 2 books: Batman and Justice League, at S$89.90.

Fans and cosplayers can commemorate the anniversary and party up in full glory by participating in the Heroes and Villains of Gotham City cosplay event at a secret location (the location will be disclosed at a later date).


“The 75th anniversary of Batman is indeed a special event,” said Neal Rudge, partner at Pacific Licensing Studio.  “What I love about Batman is that he is just an average guy, without any super powers or special abilities who just has a strong sense of justice."
