[About the Silver Arts Programme]
The Silver Arts programme returns for its third edition with a bumper crop of 45 activities, workshops, exhibits and performances for seniors to showcase their creative potential and enjoy the arts with their friends and families. Organised by the National Arts Council (NAC), Silver Arts is held over four weekends from 6 to 28 September 2014. Featuring arts projects by seniors that are co-created with the artistic community, this year’s extended programme line-up offers culturally-engaging experiences for everyone. From short films, a nostalgia-filled concert play, traditional arts workshops to craft activities, our seniors can pick up new skills and transfer their treasure trove of experiences into the arts.
