Marvel Studios Announces New Dates for Films through 2019!

There's no stopping the studio giant! Be prepared for Marvel superheros will be bursting through the big screens with a slate of new films!



Check out the release date and concept art of one of its films after the jump!

In a press conference during an event at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, Marvel Studios revealed new release dates for  Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange and the Inhumans, as well as continued storylines for the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy!

In addition, we are treated with first look at concept art for the upcoming film "Black Panther"!

Note that the release dates stated may not be the same for Singapore. We'll release more information when we have them, so stay tuned to @InCinemasSG on twitter!



Captain America: Civil War

Doctor Strange

There's no official announcement as to who will be playing the titular character, but word has it that Benedict Cumberbatch is set to play the superhero. The film will be directed by Scott Derickson.

One of our favourite villians Loki (Tom Hiddleston) returns, fighting against Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in the 2017 release! According to sources, representative of the Studio said it will 'immediately follow the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron with the goal to take Thor to "another level of his own franchise"'.




Black Panther

Together with this huge announcement, Marvel revealed the actor playing Black Panther - Chadwick Boseman! He will make his debut in costume in the 3rd Captain America film, Captain America Civil War. Check out the concept art below!






Avengers: Infinity War – Part I

Inhumans

The official press release for Marvel's Inhumans:

Marvel’s “Inhumans” will make its way to theaters November 2, 2018!

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige made the announcement at a special event laying out the full slate of films for Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

“November 3, 2018 will introduce dozens of characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe,” promised Feige. “We really do believe the Inhumans can be a franchise or a series of franchise unto themselves. They have dozens of powers and an amazing social structure. With our 20th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we wanted to continue to refine what that universe is about.”
