Actress Turned Singer Pets Tseng is Ready for A New Singing Career!

Taiwan singer-actress Pets Tseng is finally releasing her debut album ‘I’m Pets’, which she waited seven long years to fulfill her dream.
“I will use the word ‘fortunate’ to describe my past seven years,” said Tseng at the press conference held at St Regis Singapore yesterday. “I’ve changed a lot in these seven years, but my aspirations and dreams to become a singer remains unchanged. I believe I’m still that same little girl who loves to sing.”
It’s not the first time Tseng has visited our sunny island, but squealed as she declared her excitement to be in the homeland of her idol, Stefanie Sun.
“If I ever met Stefanie Sun in person, I think I will faint,” quipped the 30-year-old singer. “I’ve adored her for a very long time. I heard her voice over the radio with ‘Tian Hei Hei’ and thought it was the most unique female voice.”
She added: “My respect for her is not only just for her professionalism, but the way she leads her life too. She’s really brave and not afraid to be herself… like buying food at McDonalds. I think that’s very cool! That’s what I really like about her character.”
Tseng will be holding an autograph session tonight, followed by a mini concert tomorrow at Shanghai Daily where tickets were sold out in eight hours. Due to the overwhelming support she received, Tseng said she ‘prepared something different’ for the fans in here.
“It’s a meaningful event for a singer to hold a mini-concert or showcase because we are able to use our voices as a mode of communication to our fans. It’s something I really look forward to, and so to have one (mini concert) organised for my first time here in Singapore marks a good start to my career!"
