'Wonder Mama' <妈咪侠>, a comedy drama written and directed by acclaimed Hong Kong director Clifton Ko 高志森 and starring beloved evergreen Hong Kong actress Petrina Fung 冯宝宝, will be screening in cinemas exclusively at Filmgarde Cineplexes this June.
This movie significantly marks the return to feature filmmaking for both star and director after a long hiatus. Wonder Mama was first selected and screened at the Singapore Chinese Film Festival in April to popular acclaim, selling out the first screening which prompted the festival organizers to add a 2nd screening.
For its theatrical release at Filmgarde Cineplexes in June, both Petrina Fung and director Clifton Ko will be returning to Singapore from 15 – 21 June to promote the film.
There will be a special sneak preview screening of Wonder Mama, held in conjunction with the Singapore Film Society for elderly folks to watch the film in its original Cantonese dialogue.
