Directed by Mark Osborne, the film premiered at the 68th Cannes Film Festival, followed by a theatrical release in France. To date, the film has earned $97.5 million on a $77.5 million budget, becoming the most successful French animated film abroad of all time.
The film stars the voices of Jeff Bridges, Rachel McAdams, Paul Rudd, Bud Cort, Marion Cotillard, Benicio del Toro, James Franco, Ricky Gervais, Paul Giamatti, Riley Osborne, Albert Brooks and Mackenzie Foy.
