It’s time to live your fantasies and throw out nearly a million dollars - just so you can sleep in the cupboard under the stars like what Harry Potter did in the first movie, ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’.
The real-life home that stood in the fictional 4 Privet Drive, is now on sale at a whopping £475,000 (approximately S$838,446)! The three-bedroom house still ‘preserves’ the room that ‘the boy who lived’ stayed when he was younger. While the room was only seen in the first film, the street was recreated on the Harry Potter film set for the subsequent sequels.
In the book and film, Harry lived at 4 Privet Drive with the evil Dursleys: his Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon, and cousin Dudley.
