Experience The Oscars with HBO Asia

Oscars is coming soon! In fact, it will on Monday, 27 February at 8am Singapore time. The 89th Annual Academy Awards will be held at the Dolby Theatre and hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. Folks like us might not get invited to the actual event, but we can watch it live in anticipation of each winner.

(Here are some of the films with the most nominations!)

Live broadcast of both the red carpet and the ceremony will be on HBO (Starhub TV Ch 601). There will also be exclusive red carpet reporting on HBO Asia’s social media platform by HBO Asia’s social media crew and Singaporean host Denise Keller. In addition, the HBO Asia microsite will feature exclusive webcast of the ceremony, including Thank You Cam, Backstage Interviews, Audience Cam, and others.

HBO Asia is also holding a contest for viewers in Asia to win 7 pairs of tickets to watch the Oscars red carpet live and attend the Oscars viewing party in 2018. This includes airfares, accommodation, and more. Find out more about the contest here.

The 89th Annual Academy Awards will be broadcast live and exclusively on HBO (StarHub TV Ch 601) this February 27, starting with the Oscars Red Carpet ‘Live’ at 8am (same night premiere encore at 7pm), and The 89th Annual Academy Awards ‘Live’ at 9.30am (same night premiere encore at 8pm. Also streamed live on HBO on StarHub Go).
