HBO Is Releasing A New Series “I Know This Much Is True”

I Know This Much Is True is a new limited series set to debut on HBO. It revolves around a family saga that follows their parallel lives in an epic story of betrayal, sacrifice and forgiveness. Based on Wally Lamb’s award-winning New York Times bestseller of the same name, the series shows Dominick and Thomas at different stages in their lives. The series will begin in the present with both brothers approaching middle-age, filled in with Dominick’s flashbacks to their young adulthood.

The limited series, I Know This Much Is True, is written and directed by Derek Cianfrance (“Blue Valentine,” “The Place Beyond the Pines”). It is also starring Mark Ruffalo (Emmy® winner for HBO’s “The Normal Heart”), who also serves as an executive producer, and he will be portraying the roles of the identical twin brothers Dominick and Thomas.
I Know This Much Is True is set to premiere same time as the U.S. on Monday, 11 May at 9am on HBO GO and HBO; with an encore on the same day at 10pm on HBO.
