A 'SCREAM' reboot will slash its way to the cinemas in 2022!

The popular slasher film franchise is adding a new installment to its roster of films. Scream 5 is on its way.
The film was was previously reportedly aiming for a 2021 release but Paramount Pictures has announced that it will instead arrive sometime in January 2022.
It’s been nearly a decade since the release of Scream 4, with 11 years having passed between that movie and Scream 3 playing in cinemas. Ready or Not duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett will be taking the helming reins for Scream 5 after director Wes Craven passed on in 2015. James Vanderbilt (Zodiac, The Amazing Spider-Man) and Guy Busick (Ready or Not, Castle Rock) will be tackling the script.
David Arquette and Courtney Cox are reprising their respective roles of Dewey and Gale Riley. They will joined by newcomers Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega.
