Taiwanese celebrity Alien Huang, also known by his stage name Xiao Gui (小鬼) has died at the age of 36. Taiwanese media reported that he was found in his home alone in Beitou district, Tapei, by a family member.

His management agency confirmed the news and said it will be giving more details later, including the cause of death.

Huang was known for his loud and quirky character, hosting a number of variety shows including ‘100% Entertainment’ and ‘Mr. Player’. He also starred in local comedy film ‘Almost Famous’ with Michelle Chong in 2011. Huang was also a fashion designer of Alien Evolution Studio, a clothing brand he founded in 2008.

It was announced in 2018 that Huang was cast as the main lead of an upcoming local film, 'Fat Hope', produced by Encore Films. We have contacted Encore Films and will update this article progressively.

This is the 3rd death of an Asian celebrity this week, after Korean actress Oh In-hye and Japanese actress Sei Ashina, who were both found dead on Monday.

Rest In Peace, Xiao Gui!
