Director of Sony Pictures' Cinderella shares on-set photo and reveals an interesting plot about the movie!

Kay Cannon, director of Sony Pictures' upcoming musical movie Cinderella, shared a photo of stars Camila Cabello and Idina Menzel back on set.

What's more interesting is the caption that Cannon used to accompany the photo, revealing that her movie has no villains! Menzel will play stepmother to Cabello's Cinderella but she has no evil charactersitics.

Cinderella is written and produced by James Corden who will also star alongside Cabello and Menzel with Billy Porter, Pierce Brosnan, Minnie Driver, John Mulaney, Missy Elliot and Romesh Ranganathan.

Though plot details haven’t been released, the story is reportedly a modern reimagining of the classic fairy tale in which an orphaned girl turns into a princess. Cabello’s Cuban and Mexican roots will likely play a part in the modern aspect of the story.

Cinderella will open in cinemas on February 18, 2021.
