Clancy Brown is set to join ‘John Wick : Chapter 4’!

Deadline reported that Lionsgate has recently announced to have explicitly cast Clancy Brown. The director of the previous John Wick films, including the impending sequel, Chad Stahelski, said:
“I have been a fan of Clancy Brown’s since I can remember. To have him be a part of this project is an honor. He will make a perfect addition to the World of John Wick!”

The phenomenal actor is recognised for his roles as The Kurgan in Highlander, Capt. Byron Hadley in The Shawshank Redemption, Surtur in Thor Ragnarok and his recent feature in Promising Young Woman as Stanley Thomas. His notable features in these films exhibits a mosaic in which Brown appears to gravitate towards the action, thriller and horror genres. Not only that, he is a marvelous voice actor who have voiced, Captain Black and Ratso in Jackie Chan Adventures, Lex Luthor in Superman: The Animated Series, Mr. Eugene H. Krabs in SpongeBob SquarePants and many more. Also, have your eyes set on Brown for his upcoming cast in the revival of Dexter New Blood, a Showtime series ( an American online streaming platform - currently not available in Singapore), set to launch on 7 November 2021, and in the feature film Last Looks alongside Charlie Hunnam, Morena Baccarin, Mel Gibson Dominic Monaghan, Jacob Scipio.
The John Wick franchise has gradually evolved into a series of hypothetical universes depicting a huge and interesting criminal underworld with its own set of sophisticated rules, from what was first believed to be a simple vengeance thriller. Overlooking Brown are past characters that portray menacing personas which deems him as the key that makes the cut for the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 4 film.
Written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch, produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Stahelski and executive produced by Reeves and Louise Rosner, the production for John Wick: Chapter 4 has already commenced in France, Germany, and Japan. Brown will work in juxtaposition with Keanu Reeves, Ian Mcshare, Donnie Yen, Laurence Fishburne, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Hiroyuki Sanada and Shamier Anderson.
