Marvel Studios' announced a shift in release dates for their upcoming films

By InCinemas  /  11 Oct 2022 (Tuesday)

There's a change of plans for a slew of Marvel Studios' previously announced titles for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Blade, starring Mahershala Ali is currently in search of a new director, following Bassim Tariq’s departure. It was previously scheduled for release on November 3, 2023 but is now set to open September 6, 2024. The untitled Deadpool threequel has moved from September 6, 2024 to November 7, 2024, while Fantastic Four is bumped from that latter date to February 14, 2025. Previously set for November 7, 2025, Avengers: Secret Wars will now debut on May 5, 2026.

It was at San Diego Comic Con earlier this year that President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, first laid the groundwork for the transition from Phase 4 to Phase 5 and 6 of the MCU. Phase 4 will end with the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, releasing in cinemas November 10.

Do note that these are the US release dates. Stay tuned for more updates on when the films will be opening in Singapore cinemas.
