Three Wishes and a Deadly Bet: Main Trailer Drops for 'Genie, Make a Wish'

Kim Woo-bin, a devilish genie freed after a thousand years, has long thrived on corrupting humans through their deepest desires. His newest master, however, is Ka-young (Suzy) — a stoic woman completely unmoved by emotions.
Instead of wishing, she confronts Genie with a shocking “best-of-five” bet: if his claim that humans inevitably turn corrupt proves true, she will make her wishes — and give up her life. Anticipation runs high for the dazzling reunion of rom-com icons Kim Woo-bin and Suzy, alongside a colourful ensemble that includes Ahn Eun-jin, Noh Sang-hyun, Ko Kyu-phil, and Lee Zoo-young.
From trading insults and shoving each other off rooftops to sharing a breathtaking kiss and a timeless waltz, Genie and Ka-young’s strange bond evolves into something neither expected.
“Genie, Make a Wish is about three wishes and countless temptations,” says writer Kim Eun-sook. “Audiences will be swept away, almost unconsciously, by the storm of emotions and desires that ripple through these characters and the world they inhabit.”
Genie, Make a Wish will premiere worldwide on 3 October, only on Netflix.
