Surprise Proposal at Timeless Love Gala Premiere!

We were all very excited when Timeless Love director Dasmond Koh announced that there’ll be a lucky draw. “City Chain is very kind and generous, and hereby sponsoring us a prestigious watch to reward our guests and fellow artistes who have taken their precious time off, amidst their busy schedule and filmings, to attend our Timeless Love Gala Premiere.” Dasmond addressed to the crowd at Shaw Theatres Lido foyer level 5.
Dasmond Koh had successfully convinced the crowd that a lucky draw was taking place and it would be a fair one. Dasmond Koh had gone to the extent of asking the emcee to pick someone to draw the lots to ensure fairness. And the emcee, Ivy (Radio Deejay from YES 93.3FM), chose the cute little boy in the movie to draw the lots.
Little did we know, that there’s a conspiracy behind it when a beautiful lady came up on stage. Her name is Cindy and this very day 6th March is probably one of her most memorable days in her life!

There she was, up on stage. And at the precise moment, director Koong Hwee was smirking and saying this lady is related to him.
The prestigious watch was said to be hidden in the balloon so the only way to retrieve it was to pop the balloons with the needle provided. Hmm.. What if the expensive watch dropped onto the ground? How could that be possible? Some thoughts were formed as Cindy hesitated to pop the balloons.

The balloons were slowly taken down one by one, but the watch was nowhere to be seen! Until finally, a ring was seen and director Koong Hwee took charge and did a high-kneel on the ground, all set to propose to his girlfriend. Everyone was awed and cheered loudly as a lucky draw switches to a romantic wedding proposal.
This pleasant surprise immediately aroused all the crowd at Shaw Theatres Lido foyer. Some cheered and clapped, while others urged Cindy to accept Koong Hwee’s proposal. Zheng Ge Ping was seen taking out his phone video recording this precious moment! He was also one of the many who suggested the couple to hold their kiss for a longer period of time!

And Charissa Wong, Country Manager, City Chain Stores Pte Ltd & Optical 88 Pte Ltd, presented a pair of watches by City Chain to the couple, wishing them a blissful and happy marriage.

Okay got to hand it to director Koong Hwee. This is a daring but romantic attempt.

After experiencing such a joyous event, the crowd proceeded to the halls to watch the Gala Premiere of Timeless Love, which is slated to open tomorrow, 8 March 2012.
With regards to his film, co-director Dasmond Koh said, "We hope that you’ll enjoy Timeless Love and feel our sincerity and effort in the movie."
The rest of the cast also had a few words before the screening of Timeless Love and when it's Michelle Tay's turn, she never fail to lift up our mood in her presence. In a casual and cheerful tone, she garnered everyone’s attention as she spoke. “Please support our film, Timeless Love and recommend your friends and family to the movie! Thank you and thanks for coming!”
