Rain admitted that his last concert was an emotional one and that he had focused on communicating with his fans compared to his usual performance. Fans and supporters of Rain will be delighted to know that the 2 hour 30 minutes concert is made into a movie featuring the highlights of the show and that it will premiere on Celestial Movies this Sunday, 23 September at 9pm via SingTel mio TV ch 52 and Starhub Cable TV Ch 868.

Furthermore, this 1 hour and 35 minutes movie, RAIN THE BEST SHOW 3D, will be showing exclusively at FilmGarde Cineplexes on 27 September 2012! Don't miss the 3D experience of watching your favourite Korean star on the big screen!

  • This is your last concert before military service. Could you tell us how feel?
Rain: I had devoted my entire enthusiasm into this concert and since this is the last concert before I began my military service, I would like to communicate with the audience in a more interactive way. I put more emphasis on communicating with the audience instead of giving the usual performance-oriented show.
  • You broke into tears on stage. Fans were deeply moved by your sincerity.
Rain: I was really moved by the audience who attended my concert. I debuted as a singer on 24 April 2002 and time flies so fast that I simply can't get hold of it. The episodes throughout these ten years flashed back and I just couldn't help breaking into tears.
  • Some artists are afraid that they would love their fans and audiences after the military service. What do you think about it?
Rain: For me, serving the army is my solemn responsibility and it is my honour to be able to become part of the military. I am sure that there is nothing I should be afraid of as long as I live with a positive thinking.

  • Anything you would like to tell your loving fans?
Rain: I will let you cheat on me during the two years when I serve the army. Just make sure you will come back when I am back from the army. I would also like to say thanks to my dad and my sister.
  • How have you been doing recently? Any interesting episodes in the army you can share with us?
Rain: Recently, I have been appointed as jury member for the audition program 'Be The Star' run by the military broadcast station. It is my honour to work with fellow singers KCM and Park Hyo-shin and exchange our ideas. Among the participants there is one who performed my 'Ways to Avoid the Sun'. He sings really well but I think it would be even better if he could be more confident and walk away from my influence.
  • Your new film SOAR INTO THE SUN was released in August in Korea. What's your character in the film?
Rain: My role is a military officer at the air force and I was happy to act in this film. It's good that I could experience how the life of an air force pilot is like.

(Note: SOAR INTO THE SUN will be showing in Singapore theatres on 25 October 2012. Click for more details and trailers!)
  • Many people are talking about the kiss scenes between you and leading actress Shin Se-gyung. How was it like?
Rain: I enjoyed the romantic scenes with her a lot. The only pity is that my kiss scenes with her were deleted by the director.

  • You've also made a surprise appearance at the cinema.
Rain: I was unable to attend the Gala Premiere of the film since I was inn the army. But I feel that it's my responsible to promote the film so I applied for a special 5 days leave, going to the cinemas and meet the audience. Since I am a soldier and not an actor at the moment, I could not go up the stage and greet the audience, all I did was to express my gratitude to my fans and viewers from my seat.
  • Do you have any plans after your discharge from the army?
Rain: I don't have any particular plans at the moment. People may think army life is tough, but I quite enjoy it at the moment and am even thinking if I should continue to work in the army after my two year term.
