By InCinemas / 25 Oct 2012 (Thursday)
Happy Hari Raya Haji and a great Halloweeny weekend to all! Don't miss the horror activities available during this long weekend! Blend into the Halloween mood and experience the thrills of terror!
Hit the jump for our summary of the horror activities and movie promotions at various cineplexes!
You bet we will mention movies. But before we go into the details/promotions, here's a few other horror activities one can enjoy with their family and (boy/girl) friends. Say 'Museum Of Horrors III 4D' @ *Scape, 'Sentosa Spooktacular' @ Fort Siloso, 'Halloween Horror Nights 2' @ Universal Studios Singapore or the 'Spooky Encounters' @ Clarke Quay!
We have yet to enter this year's Museum Of Horrors (will be going this weekend) but here's a deal for our InCinemas members! Simply present this coupon via mobile to enjoy 20% off tickets during walk-in purchases. (Click to find out more!)
As for Sentosa Spooktacular, I have indicated my experience and my ratings for the 5 spooky trails they have at Fort Siloso previously. Note that this is the first time Fort Siloso is opened to the public at night... The environment itself is already a Must-Visit for the dare-seekers! Note this Sunday will be its last night!
And the Halloween Horror Nights, Cathay is having this promotion where you can save up to $20* (U.P. $68) when you buy your event tickets at The Cathay or Cathay Cineleisure Orchard! Its posters comes with a tagline: Even death comes with 'strings attached'!
Take note of the Scary Pub Crawl and the Halloween Party @ Clarke Quay!
Frankenweenie Special!
Come on down to Cineleisure Orchard level 1 and spot the Frankenweenie Photo Booth! Choose one of the 4 backgrounds available and have your free photo taken! (Only from 26 October - 4 November, 1:00pm - 9:00pm)
Frankenweenie (3D) opens InCinemas 15 November 2012.
Read on for the GV Horrorthon and promo you can look into!
Now comes the horror movies. Click to find out more of its details/trailers/clips/reviews!
If you're new to InCinemas, you should probably head over to our search
engine and check out our showtimes function where the movie sessions for
all cineplex will be listed in matter of seconds!
The Possession (PG13) - opens 20 Sep
Sinisters (NC16) - opens 11 Oct
Paranormal Activity 4 (NC16) - opens 25 Oct
Horror Stories (M18) - sneaks on 31 Oct & opens 1 Nov
House at the End of the Street (PG13) - opens 1 Nov
Plan out your own list of 'Horrorthon' (Horror + Marathon) at your own comfortable pace over the weekend!
Note that The Possession is now showing exclusively at Shaw Lido (7:20pm).
House at the End of the Street only opens on 1 November but there is a way where you can watch it first before its release date. Check out the Horrorthon at GV Marina and GV Jurong Point!
Don't worry, you can be sure you aren't alone, in the halls of course! It's nearly filled! There's an average of over 20 seats left so this horrorthon is still possible!
Cathay on the other hand, is having a halloween party at its premiere halls this Saturday. Halloween packs will be given out on a first-come-first-served basis and the best dressed customer for the Halloween will walk away with a pair of the Platinum Movie Suites movie passes!
Also see how you can receive a Paranormal Activity 4 iPhone 4 casing or stand a chance to win one when watching at Cathay Cineplexes!
Then, there's this Korean horror movie, which I find rather disturbing.. Having the highest rating among the other horror movies this Halloween, Horror Stories will be having its sneaks at Shaw theatres on 31 October.
You should watch its movie trailer which has already given me the creeps.. But for those who dare to take up the challenge to complete the 4 horror stories, be sure to participate in our InCinemas: Horror Stories Giveaway! We're getting 10 InC-fans to go for its premiere on 30 October!
We hope this has been useful for you! Have a Halloweeny weekend ahead~
