9 February 2011, Wednesday - The new and uncut version of the Perfect Rivals trailer will launch 13 Feb 2011 at The Heeren, along with a meet-the-cast session with the film’s “Mei Mei Rou Gan” family - Irene Ang, Mindee Ong and Pamelyn Chee.
This marks the first promotional roadshow for Perfect Rivals after the announcement that the film will be rescheduled to launch in cinemas 17 Mar 2011.
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, two shoppers will be selected by 9 Feb 2011 to participate in a Perfect Rivals Race; where Mindee Ong and Pamelyn Chee will race around Heeren with the two selected female partners to shop for items to style and dress their respective male partners. The race has to be completed within 15 minutes, with a budget of $200.
Irene Ang, the celebrity judge for the Perfect Rivals race, will select the winning couple based on style, how well they keep within the budget and how well they know their partner.
The winning couple will get to receive a chocolate hamper from Chocolate Factory worth $118 in addition to the purchases that they made. The other couple will also get to bring back their purchases.
