Ghost which starred Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze captured the hearts of the audience in 1990 with the romance between Sam Wheat and Molly Jensen. Its famous pottery wheel scene was also reprised in other future movies. Ghost has also made the theme song ‘Unchained Melody’ a classic hit.

Ghost the Japanese remake of the 1990 version will hit the screens in Singapore on 10 March. Ghost starring Japanese popular actress Nanako Matsushima (?????) and Korean heartthrob Song Seung Heon (???) is set in modern Japan. Veteran actress Kiki Kirin (????) reprises the role of Whoopi Goldberg as the psychic

Ghost is about a successful woman Nanami Hoshino (Nanako Matsushima) meets a ceramist, Juno Kim, (Song Seung Heon) a Korean who is residing in Japan. Their love blossoms but their happiness was short-lived. Nanami is killed in an accident. Her ghost remains with Juno when she realizes that her death is not an accident but due to a conspiracy. Juno is in danger. The only way Nanami can warn Juno is through a psychic, Satsuki Unten (Kiki Kirin). Love continues to stay alive between the two even though they have no physical contact.

Popular Japanese singer, Ken Hirai (??) gave the song ‘Unchained Melody’ a new lease of life. He also sang the new theme song, ‘Aishiteru’ which means ‘I Love You’ in Japanese.

Ghost is distributed by Scorpio East Pictures and Cathay-Keris Films in Singapore.
