LEAD ACTRESS JOANNA DONG SINGS THE THEME SONG FOR UPCOMING LOCAL MOVIE -- «???????» FOREVER
Lead actress Joanna Dong ???, who stars in upcoming local romance movie «???????»FOREVER, pens the lyrics and performs for the movie theme song, also titled «???????»FOREVER!
The theme song, composed by Benjamin Lim Yi ??, brings out a similar message from the movie – destined and everlasting love. The song also plays a big part in the movie as it bonds the two lead characters together; Joey, played by Joanna Dong, and Gin, played by lead actor Mo Tzu Yi ???.
“Writing the lyrics for the theme song was a bit of a challenge for me at first as I am not a professional lyricist. I almost wanted to give up writing,“ Joanna Dong explains.
“When I finally completed the song, I wasn’t satisfied with the whole composition as the lyrics did not seem poetic enough. However after deep thoughts, it appeared that the simple phrases best reflect the episodes Joey, the main character, went through,” she adds.

FOREVER is a Mandarin-language film shot on location in Singapore. Directed by Wee Li Lin ???, the main cast includes Taiwanese actor Mo Tzu Yi ???, Singapore award- winning theatre actress Joanna Dong ??? and newcomer Sarah Ng Li-Wen ???.
FOREVER is financed by the Singapore Film Commission, Bobbing Buoy Films, Add Oil Films and Iceberg Design. The movie, distributed by Golden Village Pictures, opens in Singapore on 3 March 2011.
