It’s official. Star Wars: Episode VIII Is Now Called Star Wars: The Last Jedi!

Up until now, we’ve been referring to the next instalment of the Star Wars saga as Episode VIII, and today, Lucasfilm has announced that the official title for the December release is ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’.
Apart from a poster, nothing else pertaining to its story plot was released. But the internet has been going crazy about the change in colour over the logo that’s usually yellow in colour. Now, people are speculating as to what the red colour might mean. It’s unclear whether the new colour will actually appear in the movie’s opening titles.
Written and directed by Rian Johnson, and produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Ram Bergman, J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski,
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will hit Singapore theatres December 14, 2017.
