New record for Largest Gathering of STAR WARS™ Fans in Character in Singapore

The Force is strong long Orchard Road this Christmas. Opening this year’s event at Frasers Centrepoint is Singapore’s largest STAR WARS™ Fan Gathering. The gathering saw members of the Singapore Rebel Legion and the Singapore 501st Garrison as well as Jedi and Sith Lords from Fightsaber coming together to break the Singapore Book of Records for the Largest Gathering of People Dressed as Star Wars Characters. The new record now stands at 112 participants.

Until Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits cinemas in December, perhaps it might be an opportunity go to The Centrepoint where you can check out the life-size Stormtroopers, BB-8 in his X-wing and Kylo Ren’s new TIE silencer.

Praetorian Guards will also lurk in nine Frasers Centrepoint Malls from 20 November onwards. 50 lucky shoppers who snap a selfie with one of the Praetorian Guards and post the photo on your public Instagram account with an interesting caption, why you love STAR WARS will stand to win a pair of movie tickets to Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

If you love the experience you had at the Centrepoint, you may also vote for the Best Dressed Building on Orchard Road. Voting may be done through the Christmas on Great Street website www.orchardroad.org/christmas now through to 3 December 2017.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be in cinemas on 14 December 2017.
