It's Coming! A 'Train to Busan' Sequel is Reportedly in the Works.

Get those baseball bats ready. Korea’s most popular zombie horror film, ‘
Train to Busan
’ is said to be in its early stages of developing a sequel.
Director-writer Yeon Sang Ho 2016 horror hit became the highest-grossing Korean film in
Singapore
, Hong Kong and Malaysia, with over $100million in box office sales worldwide.
It has been
reported
that the follow-up, called ‘Bando’ which translates as ‘peninsula’, will be an extension of
Train To
Busan
, after the virus has spread throughout Korea, but the characters are not the same. It shares the same world view and is a zombie action film that deals with the aftermath on the peninsula of what happened in Train To Busan.
The sequel is said to start filming in 2019.
