Cinemas Closed? Time To Binge-Watch At The Comfort Of Your Own Home!

With the announcement from the Singapore Government that from 26 March (11.59pm) until 30 April all bars, cinemas and other forms of entertainment outlets will be closed as it is one of the newly enforced measures Singapore has taken in its fight against COVID-19 as we see a sharp increment of imported cases.

As all entertainment outlets are closed, I am sure most of us will be staying at home and finding ways to keep ourselves entertained (drawing objects with your friends on Instagram Story). For the time being, we have compiled some shows you can binge-watch at the comfort of your own home!

Netflix Original

Freud (Season 1)

Money Heist (Season 1-3)

The Rising of The Shield Hero

Originally called Tate No Yuusha in Japan, The Rising of The Shield Hero is a Japanese-Fantasy anime. The anime follows Naofumi, a shut-in, the shield hero that was summoned along with three other heroes to form the Four Cardinal Heroes. Unbeknown to the four, they were summoned from modern-day Japan to the kingdom of Melromarc to become its saviours. Little did Naomi knows, the shield hero is despised and he needs all the power he can get to defend himself.

Westworld (Season 1-3)

Westworld is an exclusive theme park where those who can afford a ticket can live without limits. Partners Arnold Weber and Robert Ford created lifelike robots that pass for humans called hosts. The hosts allow guests to live out their fantasies (without harming humans) in the park.

Game of Thrones (7 Seasons)

We Bare Bears

We Bare Bears follows three bear siblings, Grizzly, Panda, and Ice Bear, and their awkward attempts at integrating with the human world in the San Francisco Bay Area. For parents, what is better than a funny cartoon to keep your child distracted while you are busy with chores and work, right?
