Love is love!
From Hollywood to Bollywood, all we need is love to keep the doctor away.
Throughout the years, romance movies have been released in abundance and we can safely say it is a genre that's here to stay.
However, have you ever watched something so distinct that it sticks with you as you age? Something so significant like that one memory you can never seem to let go? If you're looking for a romantic movie that'll give you just that, I have generously incorporated a diverse list of those from across the world to spice this list up!
Here are six romance movies you’ll fall in love with:
Me Before You (2016)
After becoming unemployed, Louisa Clark (Emilia Clarke) is forced to accept one which requires her to take care of Will Traynor (Sam Claflin), a paralysed man. The two of them soon bond with each other.
As emotional as it is, this movie is certainly one of a kind. This gives me flashbacks to that one adorable scene when Louisa sat on Will's lap while both of them were idling around the dance floor at Will's ex-girlfriend wedding! Oh and, want to know what is even more nauseating? His ex-girlfriend got married to his own best friend. Well, to know more, *watch the movie*.
Will's pessimism mixed with Louisa’s optimism matched incredibly well. Louisa assumed she could change Will's daunting resolution, though it was short-lived. Will Louisa be able to be Will's one and only saving grace? Watch the movie to feed your curiosity!
P/S: You'll want to prepare a tissue box set next to you. Trust me on this.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998)
After reading the letter her mother had written for her before she died, Anjali decides to bring together her widowed father, Rahul, with his true love who is also named Anjali.
In this ‘love triangle’, expect the unexpected. New friendship is forged. Heartbreaks coexist.
My heart aches for Anjali Sharma (Kajol), whose love goes unrequited by her own best friend Rahul Khanna (Shah Rukh Khan) who falls in love with Tina Malhotra (Rani Mukerji), the new girl in college. Rahul and Tina then got married and started a family. While this was occurring, Anjali disappeared out of the blue. Fast forward to a few years later, will the three of them meet again?
What can I say, Shah Rukh Khan is the king of Bollywood! His acting makes hearts melt and I must certainly put ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ a Bollywood classic into this list!

The Con-Heartist (2020)
After her ex-boyfriend cons her out of a large sum of money, a former bank employee tricks a scam artist into helping her swindle him in retaliation.
You may think that one would get justice for being the scapegoat. No, that is not happening here. Ina (Pimchanok known as 'Baifern') is left with with the debts by her ungentlemanly excuse of ex-boyfriend, Petch (Bank Thiti)! Tower (Nadech Kugimiya), then entered Ina's life in the middle of the chaos. What kind of scheme will they inaugurate? Will Ina's ex-boyfriend, Petch, get a taste of his own medicine?
In this romantic comedy, unwind from heart-wrenching romance movies and laugh out loud! Get your popcorn ready as you're not leaving your seats till the movie is over. Oh believe me, the amount of times I died of laughter was unaccountable. Don't be stingy, watch it with your family and friends!

Love, Simon (2018)
Simon Spier (Nick Robinson) keeps his sexual orientation a secret from his family. However, when a blackmailer threatens to reveal it, he goes on a roller-coaster journey to come to terms with his identity.
Robinson portrayed his character marvelously! Personally, I was astonished to find out he was also in Everything, Everything and, how copacetic of an actor he is. This film pretty much sums up how gruelling it can be for some to be upfront about their sexual orientation due to social stigmas that have long been established in society.
Totally loved how the storyline slowly built up and gradually revealed the blackmailer.

A Beautiful Life (2011)
A woman moves to Beijing to start over and, after a series of setbacks in her new life, falls in love with a tradition-bound policeman.
An immensely touching storyline! Shu Qi and Liu Ye chemistry overflows and it’ll get your heart going, ‘pit-a-pat’. There is something about the way he displays affection and tender care to flaunt his love for her with slight cautious whereby she, contemplates while trying to piecee her life back together. The unwavering push-and-pull factor between them is such a turmoil. Though continuous, somehow, the movie is calm and paced steadily. Eventually, they found their footing and the rest is history.
