New 'Robin Hood' trailer hits the spot

Expect lots of swashbuckling action in the form of swordplay and archery in the upcoming action adventure ROBIN HOOD. Taron Egerton, best known for his star-making role in the ‘Kingsman’ movies, plays the heroic outlaw. Jamie Foxx plays Little John, the leader of the Merry Men. The villainous Sheriff Of Nottingham is played by Ben Mendelsohn, most recently seen as the bad guy in ‘Ready Player One’ and ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’.

   
    

This new trailer showcase a darker, grittier tone for this classic tale with strategic fight choreography and explosive action sequences to boot. One thing is very clear: This is certainly not your grandfather’s version of Robin Hood. It looks more like a medieval version of a superhero origin story that is jam-packed with action and that is fine with us.
